You will recall that the month of August, specifically the 09th of August, is important in South Africa’s socio-political, socio-economic calendar.
Well, as we celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the famous 1956 Women’s march against the immoral system of Apartheid in South Africa; in particular against the oppressive Laws which sought to belittle the Women folk, we do so with utmost appreciation and admiration to what the Women have done and continue to do for the betterment of the lives of all our people in South Africa and beyond. That famous 1956 Women’s march was by South African Women of all races, different religious background; yet united in their diversity!
Internationally, the month of August each year is dedicated towards paying tribute to Women; continuing to affirm them and show our fervent willingness to partner with them as equals and not as inferior beings.
The Freedom, democracy and the civil liberties that we today so enjoy, are all in part due to the sacrifices and commitment of so many Women not only in South Africa but also by other Women from outside the borders of South Africa – Women of all races; different nationalities and religious background.
The positive impact and development that has engulfed the global village called planet earth, is in part, a result of the contribution by Women from all over the said village.
We tip our hats to you, Ladies, or should I say Women? We appreciate you; we congratulate you on all the countless milestones that have miraculously delivered on.
Be assured of our continued cooperation and support!
