  • Encourage networking between South African individuals and companies based in the UAE and across the region.
  • Foster and encourage close relationships between the council and its members and UAE Nationals, government and corporate institutions.

Nationals, government and corporate institutions

  • To encourage social and cultural exchanges between South Africa and the UAE.
  • Promote the vision of the 'Rainbow Nation', whereby all people are equal, whatever their colour, creed or race.
  • Promote the unique culture of South Africa, which includes tolerance of all.
  • Communicate these messages at any and every opportunity.

 

Networking

  • Develop a programme of working luncheons, dinner meetings and informal networking events.
  • Organise presentations by guest speakers to promote South Africa.
  • Implement networking events, such as the hosting and organising of in-coming South African delegations.
  • Plan special breakfasts, luncheons or sessions featuring prominent guest speakers.

 

Membership

  • Enlarge council membership.
  • Increase membership satisfaction, retention and revenue.
  • Establish a membership directory, available to all members and widely circulated across the UAE.
  • Promote member companies' corporate image, products and services.
  • Publish and circulate SABCo's newsletter and press releases.
  • Increase SABCo's visibility and accessibility.
