Natalie Warren
President
|
Natalie Warren was born in Phalaborwa, on the border of the
Kruger National Park. Her family then moved to Cape Town where she
completed her schooling in Stellenbosch. At a young age Natalie
realized that she needed to work in an environment which enabled
her to be involved with people and went off to complete her ND in
Marketing and Advertising.
Natalie's career at Sasol started on a project in the UK during
1996 and then she joined them full-time in Johannesburg during 1997
and has been with them ever since. She has managed to move herself
through the ranks from Marketing Assistant to Sales and Marketing
Manager in the Middle East and has been based in Dubai since
2007.
One of Natalie's passions is cooking and traveling, so most of
her spare time is either spent in the kitchen or traveling the
world in search of the new best cuisines. To stay in shape she
spends time doing Pilates and swimming.

Nsizwa Khumalo
Vice President
|
Nsizwa started his professional career with Port of Durban as
Engineering Technician responsible for illumination of streets and
buildings and power distribution. He later moved to
Johannesburg in pursue of a new career in the aviation industry
where he worked with South African Airways technical division as
Avionics Engineer for 5 years before leaving for studies in France
where he also had a short sting with Airbus and was present during
the 1st test flight of the A380. In December 2006 he joined
Etihad Airways where he is currently employed. He is married
to Akhona and have two daughters and one son: Feziwe, Mhlonishwa
and Nomthandazo.
Nsizwa strongly believes that all South Africans have an
obligation towards the Rainbow Nation of Nelson Mandela where all
colors are in perfect harmony with each other.

Julek Szczawinski
Secretary General |
Julek Szczawinski is the Managing Partner at Davies
Group. Julek first arrived in Dubai in October
1997 and joined Davies Group in 1999. Davies Group
is a diverse company focusing mainly on retail fit-outs. Under the
Davies Group umbrella Julek also manages Expand A Sign Middle East,
eLan Events Middle East, eLan Property Group Middle East and Orange
Box Trading "Sole Distributors of Bumbo Baby Sitters in the Middle
East"
During his time in Dubai, Julek has
developed a keen interest in the South African expatriate
community offering support and assistance to South African
companies relocating to the U.A.E. This support extends
to distributing South African products in the Middle
East and promoting investment in South Africa.
Julek is married to Evgenia and they are the proud
parents of Alexander and Ashley.

Adrian Roberts
Treasurer |
Born in Blyvooruitzicht in the current Gauteng. Adrian
matriculated from Carlton Jones High School in Carletonville and
went on to study at UNISA.
He has lived in the UAE since August 2007 and is currently a
Financial Manager of Sasol Polymers Middle East FZE.
Adrian is married to Heather and has two daughters who are
currently living and studying in South Africa.

Margaret Ramukumba
Membership

Margaret was born and grew up in South Africa. She spent many
years working in the real estate industry and the health care
industry before moving to the UAE.
Since 2000 she has worked with the higher colleges of
technologies at Abu Dhabi women's college.

Richard Harris
Business Desk

Born in Cape Town, completing his schooling at King Edwards in
Johannesburg, Richard went on to study Hotel Management in SA.
He has lived in the UK, Spain, Switzerland and has called the
UAE (Abu Dhabi) home since January 2002.
Richard is the Owner of Leaders Insurance Brokers, Life
Division
A former Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Harlequins, his other
sporting passions involve golf and squash.

Neil Hamp-Adams

Neil Hamp-Adams qualified as an Architect in 1995. Having
decided that a career in advertising might be a little more up his
street, he found himself at a desk in an agency in Johannesburg
managing the Land Rover account for Sub-Saharan Africa. Four years
working on this dynamic brand led to Neil being offered a similar
position in Dubai but this time to manage Africa and the Middle
East. A further four years at the helm of this account gave Neil
tremendous insight into the region, working on major product
launches including the global launch of the new Range Rover.
In 2005, an opportunity presented itself in the form of Driving
Force, a company specialising in sporting solutions. Here
Neil applied his experience and knowledge in advertising and
marketing to the world of sport and, in particular, sport in the
Middle East. As Managing Director, Neil successfully guides the
growth of Driving Force in this dynamic market. In his spare time
you will find Neil kayaking and playing golf.

Jo Brown
Administraton-Events & Membership Manager

Jo Brown the Administration-Events and Membership Manager was
born in South Africa, her parents having emigrated from
Holland.
Married to Peter Brown a British citizen for 23years, and has
one son Jason Brown currently completing his A Levels at Christ
College Breton Wales
On arrival in Dubai, August of 2006, her career to date
has been consolidated into three critical areas namely project
management, sales, marketing and communication. She has
obtained through her roles a real understanding of companies' needs
and requirements to ensure the smooth running and effectiveness of
the enterprise. She also has extensive key industry knowledge
with strong inter-personal, communication and organizational skills
from various positions focusing on corporate strategies and
objectives
Jo is an avid reader, golfer and photographer.
