Membership Overview

Around 40,000 South Africans currently live in the UAE. SABCO helps its members, not only to find each other but also encourages them to become advisers to newcomers, explaining what to expect when they arrive, either to start a business or to work here.

SABCO members' activities include:

• Networking events, such as hosting and organising in-coming South African delegations;
• Special breakfasts, luncheons or sessions featuring prominent guest speakers;
• Regular updates on current business and economic climate, major trade shows and UAE-related events;
• Providing opportunities for members of the South African business community in the UAE to network with their peers;
• Identification and referral of business opportunities to members as they relate to their business activities;
• Promotion of member companies - corporate image, products and services;
• Fostering and encouraging close relationships between the council and its members and UAE nationals, government and corporate institutions;
• Encouraging networking between South African individuals and companies based in the UAE and across the region; and
• Advise, introduce and assist South African based UAE Nationals and corporate bodies wanting to establish businesses in South Africa, or trade between South Africa and the UAE.

Breakdown of packages:

Tier:

SABCO have identified 5 different tiers in which members or organisations can join and participate in the council. These include: Single, Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum with various benefits for each.

No. of Memberships:

Each tier is entitled to a number of complimentary annual memberships ranging from one (1) for a Single to eight (8) for a Platinum. These memberships may be allocated to any individual at the purchasers discretion. i.e. If Company A purchases a Silver Tier package, the management of Company A may allocate 4 memberships to the staff or clientele of their choice. Each of these 4 memberships have to be individually named. Once allocated, a membership card will be issued and the name may not change for the duration of the years membership.

E-mailers:

Each tier is entitled to a number of e-mailers to the SABCO database with the exclusion of Individual and Bronze where a discounted cost is provided. The emailing service is exclusively available to SABCO members only. Higher tier sponsors will get priority on posting dates. Please note that only a limited number of e-mailers outside of normal membership correspondence will be allowed. All emailers and content therein is to be approved by the SABCO executive committee.

Logo & Contacts:

Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum Sponsors get complimentary mentions on the website with your logo and contact details. This will be published in a list format (top down) with priority given to the higher tier sponsors. No links will be provided.

Sponsors Page:

As a platinum sponsor, you will get you own, dedicated pop up page to use at your discretion. One design will be designed and published for you by SABCO. Later changes or amendments to this design will be charged accordingly.

Notice board message: (see tone of voice)

Place your very own message on the notice board. Depending on your status you get a number of free messages on the notice board or discounts to post messages. Non members may not post messages.

Only Gold and Silver sponsors will get there logo's placed on the website on a permanent basis. These will have a hyperlink to you selected URL or homepage. You also have the option of a rotating banner.

Platinum Sponsor gets a logo with "Proud Platinum Sponsor" permanent spot at the top right of every page on the site. Gold sponsors will be positioned in the middle right hand side of each page with a "Gold Sponsors" title.

Members pack insert

Every new member will receive a membership pack, which will include discount vouchers and special offers. Depending on your tier, you have access to this facility and may take advantage of it as indicated in the table above.

Logo on All outgoing SABCO emails

Every email that goes out will have the Platinum Partners logo proudly located on the bottom in the centre. Our Platinum sponsor will be positioned above our gold sponsor and will be approximately 25% larger in size.

Pull up at Events

As platinum Sponsor, your logo appears in Tandem on all SABCO branding. These include 4 pullup units 4 Tier Drops banners and 4x4m high flags.

As Gold Sponsor you will get automatic branding and recognition at all SABCO events on a pull up which will be located at the entrance of each event.

Discount on other events

The cherry on top! The higher your tier the higher the discounts we can pass on to you for our exciting array of events from the a business breakfast to the hugely popular Family Day which attracts over 6000 people annually.
